CARRIE POTTER
Carrie Potter is a financial, business, and strategic advisor primarily to professional & retired athletes. Prior to launching Potter Advisors LLC in 2006, Potter was Vice President of PMG Sports and Entertainment in Washington, DC.
In addition to managing and advising professional athletes for over 25 years, Carrie teaches Sport Finance at Rice University as a Lecturer in the Sport Management Department. A Certified Financial Planner™ and Registered Investment Advisor, her expertise is in designing and implementing financial, investment and business strategies. She serves as a media contributor and public speaker on topics of sport finance, athlete management, and women in sports.
Potter earned an MBA & BBA from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. She serves on several not-for-profit Boards, including the Sisters of Mercy Education System of the Americas (Financial Sustainability Committee Chair), Women in Sports & Events Houston (WISE HOU Founding President), The George Washington University School of Business (Executive Committee) and former Board Chair of The Houston Area Women's Center.
